Few watches have a connection to aviation as genuine as the Breitling Navitimer. Introduced in 1952 as a working instrument for pilots, its circular slide rule allowed aviators to perform calculations for speed, distance, fuel consumption, and rate of climb. More than seventy years later, that unmistakable dial remains one of the most recognizable designs in watchmaking.

This Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 keeps everything that makes the original special while giving it the presence and refinement of a modern luxury chronograph. The black dial, contrasting silver chronograph registers, and signature slide-rule bezel create the wonderfully busy appearance that defines a Navitimer. On the black alligator leather strap, however, there is also an elegance to the watch that separates it from a traditional tool watch.

Inside is Breitling's manufacture Caliber B01 automatic chronograph movement, offering approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The 43mm stainless steel case provides substantial wrist presence without overwhelming the design, making this one of those watches that can move surprisingly easily between the cockpit, the office, and an evening out.
